We are coming out from under the pile of the rummage sale last week and then traveling to the state archery meet this past weekend. What a crazy week! In the midst of all the craziness, we did received great blessings from the rummage/bake sale. We were so humbled by the amount of donated items and baked goods. To have others join us in in this adoption journey is a tremendous blessing. Hard to describe but it does bring me to tears whenever I think about it. Just know that all of you who donated items or helped in some way, are part of the tapestry that God is weaving For This Child.
Our adoption rummage/bake sale yielded almost $2000 for the Streyle and Swanson family adoptions. Not only is the provision
amazing but we had many opportunities to share about adoption with complete strangers. If you've spent anytime around an adoptive momma, you know that we LOVE to talk about adoption. So, working to raise money for our adoptions and talking adoptions was a great way to spend last week. Plus, hanging with the Streyle family was the icing on the cake!
