We Are......

 

Late last night, we accepted the referral of a sweet 6 yr old boy and 23 mo old girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    WE ARE SMITTEN!!!!.  As we sit and stare all starry eyed at their pictures, a mound of paperwork is growing and the referral ball is rolling.

As I have said before, the adoption process leaves us in AWE of God.  In awe of His sovereign hand, His provision, the way He orchestrates details and the way He changes our hearts.  In awe of the how He has grown our daughters through this process.   Most importantly...we are just in AWE of Him.  

So with tearful eyes and prayerful hearts, we think on two sweet children who have lost so much, and ask our AWEsome God, to be all that they need.  To begin now, to knit our hearts together as we wait for them to join our family.  To bring healing and comfort to their precious hearts and to begin to draw them unto Himself, so that one day, they will stand with us in AWE of Him.
