OH. MY. WORD!!!!!! Our excitement is uncontainable!!!!! We received our court date for December 26th!!! We will be spending Christmas with our little man and baby girl in their mother land.
We have spent the last few weeks doing the super house shuffle, tossing, sorting and switching rooms around to accommodate our growing family. On Tuesday morning, I woke up thinking, "Yep, our home feels ready. This is a good place to be". Lo and behold, on Tuesday afternoon, our wonderful case manager called to tell us we had a court date. I was floored when she gave us the date as just a few weeks ago, our family was discussing courts dates and I said, "My perfect court date would be Dec. 26th." CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??!!!!
So...on this Thanksgiving Day, we have MUCH to be thankful for. Thankful for our personal God who weaves personal details in the story He writes for our family. Thankful (and humbled) for the opportunity to join God in His miracle of adoption. SO thankful for two precious children that have captured our hearts. Thankful that we serve a redemptive God who can redeem little man and baby girls loss, for their good and His glory.
Above all, we are thankful (seems a terribly inadequate word) that God "..chose us in him before the foundations of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In LOVE he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the PRAISE of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved." Eph 1: 4-6 (caps mine)
Yay! So glad you get to spend Christmas with your sweeties! We leave ET to come home on Dec.20, so we will just miss you guys. I hope to meet your kiddos, though!
